A phrase I have heard a lot over the last few years is…They be Buggin! True words, I hate to say, and seems like it is getting worse every day! If you are not familiar with it, it basically means flipping out, acting crazy, or generally overreacting to the situation at hand. Sometimes, the best thing you can do to protect yourself and your family, is to remove yourself from the situation. AKA, bugging out! Anyone who ever watched M.A.S.H. knows that bugging out is sometimes necessary for survival!
Ok, yes, I dated myself a bit, here…but even if I never sneaked into the kitchen and hid under the kitchen table to watch through the doorway into the living room as a kid, I would know this. My husband watches M.A.S.H. reruns like football coaches watch season replays. Constantly. He has all 11 seasons on DVDs.
This company is giving away an awesome UTV, so if you were thinking now is the time to add to or start your Bug Out Supply Cache, this is the time!
They have a variety of survival foods, solar generators, medical kits, and so much more! When you go to the site you can subscribe and get ten free entries for the giveaway. In addition to that, every dollar you spend gets you another entry. So you can make your dollar work overtime! Unlike buying a lottery ticket, when you buy from this site, you get tangible and possibly life-saving products, as well as a chance to win big!!
Tents, camp stoves, knives and hatchets can be found in their camping section, and even some vegetarian options in their survival rations. I don’t like that they don’t include a shot of the ingredients in their product description, but I am hoping they add this as they build out their website!
If you have a site to bug out to, or you are ‘bugging in’, then you might be interested in their trail cams for security. They have some that can be activated on some of the largest cell carriers–so wireless! Very important in a bug out situation….Or even if you just want to hook it up out in the woods to get nature shots!
Another site I like focuses just on Emergency medical kits. If you are interested, there is a page with more details on them right here.
