Update: I wrote this article almost exactly four years ago. I was just starting out, and very unsure of where I was going to end up. The few people that I told either politely didn’t say anything or told me I was being scammed. And I get it! There are a lot of scams out there! This has been slow going for me because I started this in case I got laid off. Luckily that didn’t happen, yet, but I decided to stick with it. Since then, I have been building very slowly on a part-time basis. Returns have been slow to roll in, but they are coming now, and can only imagine where I might be if I had been doing this full time. I am so glad I stuck with it! Even with Covid to contend with, this blogging adventure has only grown, and I am so grateful!
The Journey Begins…
What you never want to hear, especially at a certain age, is that your company is laying off. Whether it is a private company streamlining its workforce, or government layoffs, there is never a good time to hear “layoff.” New beginnings can mean adventure or terror. It depends on how it comes about. And your mindset, I guess!
All of a sudden, that on-again, off-again search for possible extra income becomes an urgent search for replacement income!
That word “layoff” is what led me to online blogging, or what is referred to as Performance blogging…and what a Blessing! When I thought of new Beginnings, this was not what I had in mind, but I love it!
Yes, you will see ads on this site, and yes, I can make money from those ads. But what I intend for you to also always find here are things that can save you money or enhance your day in some way– or both!
You will see products I have researched, and deals to make your budget stretch…or things that I believe are worth the price! And I invite you to visit often, as more will be added.
