There is a reason that self-help books are a huge market. As humans, we are always striving to attain more, for ourselves, and because we know it ultimately benefits our offspring, as well. I don’t mean just financially. We tend to want to provide a better life for our children, and that comes from having a healthy sense of self and the ability to balance out work and family, no matter what life throws at us.
