All Roads Lead to Wine

After working hard for the last two years, I am getting set for a road trip! I have been poring over maps, trying to decide which route to take, but really, all roads lead to wine! Napa and Sonoma Wines, anyway! I have been practically glued to my computer since 2018! I work full time for a great company, but I also work for myself. In general, that means seven days a week! Last year with the first shutdowns from the Pandemic, it wasn’t hard to keep my head down and just keep grinding. Attended a virtual event with my Wine of the Month Club, and called it good.

But now to the real thing! We are gathering in California at our own vineyard for our first annual CRUSH IT event! I am driving cross country to be there, something I haven’t had a chance to do in several years. Unfortunately, it will be three days hard driving there, from North Carolina. And three days hard driving back. But in between, three days to rest and celebrate life!

I have been with this marketing group since 2018, and our fabulous wines are just one of the many things we promote. I hope to some day retire from the JOB and do this full time. Meanwhile I am also celebrating my business by giving away a three day vacation give away to Wrightsville Beach, NC!

If you are interested in entering, then better get in quick!! The drawing is on Labor Day, so not long left to enter!

I can’t express how excited I am to be hitting the road West and just being able to feel the freedom of stopping where and when I want, ya know? I have driven cross country before, but for work, mostly. This time I am going with a specific destination in mind, and specific events, to meet people I feel like I already know, as we communicate and help each other so often via Skype and PrimeOneChat (which pays you to chat, by the way, and doesn’t store your conversations, as it has no servers). So it is sort of a reunion.

Exclusive to our Club!

Our Wine of the Month Club is expanding Globally, so when I say all Roads Lead to Wine, it is true!

These wines are shipped to your house each month from our award winning vineyards in Napa and Sonoma Valleys, but there is hardly anywhere you can go these days and not meet up with another wine enthusiast-often with our own club!! I confess I cook with it more than I drink it, but the first rule of cooking, is never use a wine you would not enjoy drinking! It absolutely can make the meal, whether it is in a glass, or infused into the sauce, or both!

Even when I don’t cook completely from scratch, a really good wine makes it taste so much better! For example, tonight I make chicken Alfredo, and yes, I used jarred Alfredo sauce because I couldn’t find the  Mascarpone cheese I usually make it with, but I used about a cup of our 2021 Inaugural white in the sauce. After I browned the chicken and got it mostly done, I added the wine and deglazed the pan, then added the sauce and mixed it all in with the wine and chicken, left it to simmer a little while I got the fettucinni noodles going. And yes, tonight I actually drank a whole glass of the Inaugural, because it tasted delicious!! Ok, two glasses, and that is the most I ever drank at one dinner in my life!
