Marketing Tools

Marketing tools

Online marketing has exploded. Even before the Covid situation last year, and quarantines. I have been working with RRR247 Marketing for nearly three years now, and I absolutely love it. But as I expand, I have been researching different tools to use. Recently, I found some great Marketing Tool to use! Performance Blogging, what I do here, is pretty low tech, which suits my personality for sure! But I have been experimenting with different types of ads, and in the process found some great Marketing tools!!

This first tool basically helps you create micro sites that are just for that product or service you are promoting. I like the simplicity of using it to create ads! You can quickly and easily create Opt in pages, to grow your email list. From there they can be funneled to a landing or Thank You page, or set them up to go straight to an offer. For that matter, you can even send customers to your blog page, depending on what you want to accomplish. Check out their free two week trial offer here!

And if you are growing your email list–which by the way, you absolutely should, then you need a good autoresponder!!

People are adopting shopping online, virtual services and home delivery at record rates. This expanded like crazy after we all got sent home last year. As an example, my Wine Business, which offers incredible fine wines at amazing prices with club membership, increased sales like crazy! So, if you are working for yourself online, or expanding your brick and mortar business to the online space, you need great tools to assist.

One of the things you need is an auto responder. If you are not familiar with this, it is a service that collects prospective customer e-mail addresses. You set it up to send a welcome or thank you email back. You can set it to send out pre written emails and even news letters on whatever schedule you like. For this blog, I have been using Response Magic since 2018. In fact, till just recently, as I have been working my business in addition to a J.O.B., I was only using their free account.

I have upgraded to the paid version, now, since I have realized while I had my head down working, that my email list had outgrown it!

As nice as that was, I was surprised and disappointed that Response Magic didn’t notify me, of this! Especially since it would have been a sale for them, as well as benefit to me in realizing I was missing opportunities to connect with newly opted in readers. If you are looking for an auto responder, most do have a free version, or at least a free trial period. Keep in mind that if you go over your limit of subscribers, for Response Magic, it will stop sending emails. I didn’t see anything in the terms of any of them that said this, but they work so similarly in other respects, I imagine this is true of all of them.

I also tried out Get Response, AWeber, and GVO. These are autoresponders, any of which would be great to add to your arsenal of Marketing Tools!

While Response Magic is simple enough to use, and it has been awesome to have such a long time free, ideally you want your business growing faster than mine was! The basic paid plan is less than $15 a month. Get Response, AWeber and GVO are slightly pricier, for sure, but they also give more services. GVO even has a Facebook advertising program that is currently on sale for less than $40–that is for life including any updates as FB changes things. Most FB advertising courses are $500, so that alone makes it an awesome business tool.

All four let you import leads, and some will even sell you leads, if that is something you need. I don’t use this as I am Blessed with free leads for my online blogging business through Rory Ricord. He and his Wife provide them to all active members of RRR247 marketing who are serious about growing their business! (send me a message if you are interested in learning more about his Performance Blogging System and I will be glad to get you in).

AND, in case your Mama never told you–never leave money laying on the table!! All of these autoresponders I have reviewed have an affiliate program…so since My Mama didn’t raise any fool, I signed up for all of them! If you like it, and share your link, you get a commission when anyone uses that link to buy the product.
