Order Seafood Online

One of my favorite memories is the three summers I went across country from North Carolina and up into Alaska to work in the fishing industry. And part of that trip was stopping in Seattle and visiting Pike’s Market! There are magnificent views of the Bay, and absolutely wonderful fresh food! Seafood, Sour dough bread, all kinds of fresh veggies and fruits–what memories! So when I found out I could order seafood online from this foodie mecca, I was all in!!

Whether you have reduced your travelling due to Covid, the high prices of gas, or are just generally a homebody, you do not need to miss out on great food! Order seafood online and have it delivered direct to your door!

Is it expensive? Well, yes, not gonna lie! However, it is fresh, wild and shipped fresh overnight! So would I eat it all the time? Not on my budget, but definitely worth it for a special occasion or treat! And knowing where it came from, knowing the salmon is non GMO and wild caught makes it worth it!

This company has been selling seafood since 1911 at Pike’s Place Market, which opened in 1907, so almost as long as this farmer’s market has been open! I spent hours at and around this Market in Downtown Seattle each time I was there, and would love to go back again!

Now, I am looking for a bakery out there that will send me some of their rolls, so if you know of one, please let me know! I got some from Panera to use with my Smoked Seafood Chowder, and they were ok, but nothing beats the sourdough I got in Seattle!! Well, ok, San Francisco, maybe…

The first time I ever went, I was so broke! I was on my way to Alaska to find a summer job, and had broken down about five times on the way across country.

Needless to say, I was pinching my pennies, and could not buy too much. But I remember someone was giving out sample cans of some coffee drink–this was before fancy coffees really made it to the East Coast. And I remember stepping into a bakery down below Pike’s Place Market and getting crusty sour dough rolls for a quarter a piece. I enjoyed this on the edge of the bay. I Think this was one of the best breakfasts I ever had! And then later treating myself to some Seafood back at the market for lunch and supper, with fresh raspberries for dessert.

Speaking of pinching pennies, I always love to try Honey for coupon codes when shopping on line. I didn’t get any coupons through them for this site, but Capital One saved me about $83 on my order, so if you have never tried them before, now is the time!
