Protein Popcorn is Keto Friendly

Have you ever come across something that was so perfect you had to do a double take? This line of products might have you doing just that! So, I paid way more than this per bag price for another brand when I was on a trip. Popcorn fills you up, lets you munch without completely wrecking your diet, and is something few people don’t like, so is a great choice to keep on hand!

At home, I like to pop my own, as it is literally just pennies for a huge pot of it! Ever done that before? Use a heavy bottomed pot and pour in enough popcorn to cover the bottom. You also want enough oil or butter to coat the bottom of the pan….I often use coconut oil and butter mixed so the butter is less likely to burn.

Put the burner on high and don’t go anywhere! Your whole job now is to periodically shake the pot to move the popcorn around. When it starts popping, you want to shake the pot pretty much constantly until it is done! Take off the heat and dump in a metal or ceramic bowl and salt to taste. If you used salted butter, it may not take much!

So now you have delicious, buttery popcorn without the sogginess! Definitely great when you have five minutes, but if you don’t, this protein popcorn will definitely not dissapoint!!
