Ok, I never got the hang of skateboards, but I just watched the video for this Haloboard, and it is definitely on my bucket list to learn! And it lights up so you can safely ride at night! How cool is this??? And yes, it brings back fond memories of Michael J. Fox and Back to the Future!

And I definitely think these Haloboards are going to be on a lot of gift lists, this year! If you have an adventurous Tween or Teen, a Hoverboard is a great way to get them out of the house and into the fresh air!
First glance might make you think that they are not getting as much exercise as walking or biking, but with the amount of micro-movements a person has to do to balance and control the board, they are definitely getting a great workout! Complete with core strengthening! In our modern world, most of us are far too sedentary, and here is a great way to entice your kids away from the videos!
The Haloboard I like best is the Rover. It is motorized, and the battery lasts for over 2 hours. It also has headlights!
You can download an app from your phone and sync it. And sync with your Bluetooth as well. This one is a little more compact than some others which makes it easier to carry when you need to and has LED lights for night riding. Full disclosure–this is when I would ride it, at least to start! Because I know I am going to fall off of it at first, and I don’t like witnesses, lol! It also has a weight limit of up to 260 pounds.

I am not going to claim these are the least expensive. Not by a long shot. However, the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is a cliche because it is true! You want quality and durability when you are making an expensive purchase.
In a world where mobile phones can be over a thousand dollars, something that can give you transportation as well as exercise? And does not require feeding, as our horses do? Well factoring in that, the price does not seem so much!
Kids have been using these on college campuses for a while now, as well as motorized scooters, and I definitely see these have better benefits than the big clunky ones that first came out.
For comparison’s sake, you can look at this gadget review website, which shows you much less expensive-sounding hoverboard options, but I didn’t see any that appeared even close to the quality construction and design of the Hoverboards on this page! This company also has seven days a week customer support!
