Its Raining Deals With Victoria Rains!

I love to travel, although I have not gotten to do much since I got married in 2014. Between new economic demands of married life, and then the pandemic, it has been a crazy time! Not that I regret it, but I am looking forward to having my house paid off this summer and then–then it is my time!! So, I have been looking and at new things and planning my escape. And I have found some great new travel conveniences to go in my new luggage!!

Between the new TSA rules since 911, and the fact that I have learned the value of organization, planning and convenience when travelling (stop Laughing, MOM!), I have realized there is a lot to do, so I started today.

This great 16 pack of resusable, TSA approved containers are great. They have the little face cream jars, containers for shampoo, conditioner, and lotions. I looked at some collapsable ones, too, made from Silicon, just like these. But I think these are a better value for the money.

They also have their own clear case, which is great, because even though they say leak proof…I don’t want to test that out with my new make up bag!!

I am not a fancy frills kind of person, so I loved this make up bag. I learned my lesson about frills when I was coming through customs in Dublin, Ireland back in 2005. My vanity was this red oversized shoulder bag that had red beaded fringe all along the bottom… As my bag was going through customs, one of the red beads came off and rolled into the conveyor belt mechanism and jammed up the whole machine!!

I didn’t actually realize this at first, and neither did the agents, but my mother saw it and after she rushed me hastily away, she enlightened me. I still feel bad about all those people held up in that long line!!

And, of course, I am ordering a new passport holder. I did not get one last time I travelled, and I should have. There are some beautiful ones out there, but I settled on the one that hangs on your neck and can tuck under your shirt…but NOT in the boring beige everyone seems to get!! I am getting purple! Now, I just need to get my Passport renewed!

I have just begun to shop, so I am sure I will come up with some new favorite travel conveniences, but what I am really loving is my membership with this new savings benefits program!!

There are discounts on travel, flights, hotels, dining, amusement parks, just to name a few! However, there is so much more. Today I was shopping and used the Browsing extension that comes with it…Now I have cashback on some of my purchases today, on top of discounts I got!!

The extension works just like Honey, and you can use both and see which one gets the better deal!
