Online Games Increase Fun, Reduce Costs

What I always wondered growing up was how my friends who played electronic games could even afford it. Every new game was a physical disc or cartridge and cost ridiculous amounts of money. And of course, now things are even more expensive. But I just found a site where you can choose from over 6000 games that you purchase and play directly online.

With the kids at home for an uncertain amount of time, and possibly already looking for new entertainment, it is a great time to check this out!

I learned today that the first video game ever was invented by physicists in 1958! Physicist William Higinbotham created a game where players played Tennis. If you remember the old Pong game, it was like that. The game was called Tennis for Two and the actual physical build was done by a technician named Robert Dvorak. Following the blueprints done by Higinbotham, it took him about two weeks. Amazing. I would never have guessed there were video games out 10 years before I was even born!

Remember these? Games sure have come a long way!

Because they are online games, they can be purchased from anywhere in the world.

One example of what is available is Lords of the Fallen Game of the Year Edition. It is on sale for 85% off. The classic battle of Good and Evil in eleven different languages!

There is a lot of this genre to choose from, but since there are over 6k titles to date, there are all kinds of others as well! The Escapists2, The Lost Morsel, and Worms Revolution are just a few examples!

Beyond Eyes is another one. The main character is a young blind girl on a quest to find her cat, Nani. This is a unique twist on a fairy tale that shows this girl finding courage to go outside into the unknown. I definitely think this would be a good one for my tween!

For some other game ideas, we do have a Games category on our menu, that you can also access here.
